Yeah, UPS can be stupid like that sometimes. You should plausibly be able to call them up and just pick it up from their depot in the north end, I think.

Well as long as it is not as bad as the delivery person in Rosetown. Every time the wife or I are supposed to get a package we usually work from home/take the day off and he just writes down that nobody was home... is totally awesome when its your new computer  

always always always get it delivered to a business of some kind. all the couriers except Canada post suck at getting stuff to residential folks.

you can always have stuff shipped to me at Cervus if necessary.

Well it is one of those things I am totally not used to. In the states it generally is way better to have them deliver it to your house rather than a business (different trucks, less chance of getting mashed).

We just generally have everything go by Canada Post now  

ugh, UPS's residential drivers are the worst i've ever experienced. there's a few that will actually just stop by your place and not actually ring the bell just so they can say "not home, redelivery attempt" so they dont have to get out when the weather's shitty. like today with the -28 wind chill. they only put the good drivers on the business routes, the lazy ones get the residential homes since most people usually arent home when they show up so they just fake it assuming you never stayed home to prove theyre full of shit.
