Ipad codex's

So it's going to sound silly, but is there any chance that the space marine codex PDF could be updated to 6th rather than purchase the new one? The old codex isn't on iBooks store anymore and it would be amazing motivation for people to buy ebooks rather than paper copies.

I would be incredibly surprised. Not only is it updated rules but each codex does come with an entirely new section of background, painting suggestions, and layout. Also some people would rather have two copies for posterity (I've known a couple of people who enjoy collecting them).

Other people have 5 sets of codecies clogging up a bookcase and can't bring themselves to throw them out haha

To be fair I still have every white dwarf/codex/army book I have ever bought. I wouldn't want to get rid of them unless I absolutely had to.

gw publishing is a profit center for the company, so to your original question.... a snowballs chance in hell that the new codex will be a free update.

Anyone trying to download the codex through itunes with no luck?
