Anyone up for a new league match on Thursday Evening?

Mr. Voth, want to test Eldar against some Necrons? I think that's a good matchup for Eldar...

I'm thinking 6/6:30 ish 1500-1750 points.

I'm available on Thursday evening as well. i'll probably have an astronomicon -ready list by then or a 1750 list if anyone wants to throw down for a league game.

@Mark - Thursday night works. 6 p.m. and 1750 pts work for me

Kachow! We're on. I'll bring 1750 of Necrons with a dash of a couple things I want to try out to remind myself why they're bad....

I can attest that Flayed Ones, upon gaining Troop Status and Shred on the first round of combat, have become viable. So much early game pressure.

Flayed ones are terrible. But as troop choices with shred *and* rending on the first round of any combat... beefcake. I might even take two units of 10 ... infiltrating and scoring are a great combination.

However, I wouldn't say they're "broken" or anything. I think it's just a balanced way to take them.

I will not be fielding them against Mike, well maybe a small unit of 10, but not using the Orpheous FW rules. ... Actually, I wanted to kick the tires on a couple other not-so-often-used-by-me things.

The Flensing Scarabs wargear option grants Shred on the first round of combat. The Charnel Scarabs upgrade for the Maynarkh Canoptek Scarabs drops Entropic Strike to give them +1 WS, Shred, and Rending.

Mike, I might bring Orks, is that okay? Edit: Either Orks or 'Crons... one of the two!

Don't matter to me, I'll be bringing a TAC list.
