I might be available for a game Sunday afternoon. Are you signed up with the league? How many points were you thinking? We tend to hover between 1000 and 1750

I could do 1:30PM. I'll be bringing Chaos, potentially with Daemon allies.

Re: Hey looking for a game
We made a couple of mistakes in our game.
GW Blood Angels FAQ--
1)Page 38/94 – Stormraven Gunship, Special Rules.
Remove the Deep Strike special rule.
------
Astorath has to assault to get his re-roll to hit for himself and his unit. (no biggy, you'd've crushed me here anyway)
======
Result would've been similar, so it doesn't matter. That does mean we need to schedule a re-match at some point though! *roar*
If I were you, I'd keep Mephiston's codex powers instead of swapping for Biomancy. It worked well for you as you got both Iron Arm and Warp Speed, but I wouldn't count on getting those every time. You could just as easily get Hemorrhage and Life Leech. With your codex powers you get that swanky Wings of Sanguinious (sp?) power, which is super cool!

I didn't have the 1.3 edition of the FAQ just the 1.1 but that deep strike thing is bogis. I well when arriving with reserves do I make my full movement to the bird edge or from like 24 inches away from my Tavel edge or just arrive on it?

you fly onto the table as if making a normal move. so you have to move at least 18 inches and may move up to 36 inches onto the board from any point on your table edge.
this can be slanted. it doesn't have to be straight ahead. i know a lot of folks that choose a corner and come on at like a 30-45 degree angle so that they can get a decent shot the turn they come on, and still have some options for being useful in the following phase.
I don't know about removing deep strike as being "Bogis". I see it as removing the chance for catastrophic failure from the players list of choices.
According to the rules, a zooming flyer that cannot move at least 18 inches in its movement phase crashes to the ground.
All flyers entering play count as zooming.
A deep struck flyer would arrive on the table having not moved at all, and be unable to move further as per the rules for deep strike...
and hence would pop into existence upon the tabletop and then promptly crash and explode at the end of the movement phase.

As I said though, wouldn't've changed the outcome. It was a good game.
