Fantasy and 40k player! (:

Hello everyone! My name is Kayla and I moved to Saskatoon from British Columbia about 8 months ago and have found no luck finding other players! I've been to Dragons Den and have seen a variety of different games being played but not so much 40k or Fantasy! Where are all of you hiding! Well, I've played for a number of years with 40k and I have a couple Fantasy armies, but I don't really have any experience playing them.

40K armies I possess are as follows:
Orks (Currently my most played and favorite army)((I have quite a bit of Orks. Including a STOMPA! )
Daemons
A small Tau army
A small Space Marine army
VERY small Chaos Space Marine army (Not even playable)

I'm Beau, you'll usually see me playing Ultramarines, though I'm trying to get my Deathwing, Orks and chaos into decent shape as well.

Well, I should definitely look into that! Can I sign up any ol' day? And is there a specific Warhammer day at the den I should be aware of? =P

Any ol' day would work, and you'd also be in luck with a fresh league just starting this past week. Always nice to see someone who can bring a super heavy to the table.

welcome kayla; 40k nights i think are usually thursday nights, though winter is a slow time to find gamers just cause of the weather. you might not bump into someone randomly to play a game against, but if you post in the Thunderdome section what day/time works for you, and the point limit you'd like to play, you can usually get a quick reply to play a game. it'll be nice to have a female player aside from my wife, especially since she hasnt had a chance to play any games in the last year cause of the baby.

post some pics on the site for us to see what your army looks like; sounds like you have some interesting stuff

Lots of replies which is great! Well, the only days that really work for me are the weekends. Mainly Saturday. But, I may be able to find some time on Thursdays to go down to the den and see what kind of competition I have. It'll be great! Can't wait to meet you guys! Especially your wife dusktiger! Haven't really met too many female warhammer players!
