Daemon Heralds

Hey,

Some people on the Internets have argued that, while you can't take 4 heralds on an allied list, you could still take 1. The argument makes sense to me, but that's because I'm hopeful... :-p

Makes sense to me, actually the most sense when you think about it...

I'd agree that you could take 1 herald in an allied detachment. seems a little wonky that you'd be required to take a prince or Greater daemon in order to field some bloodletters. MaybePhil thought that he under-costed the book and the prices on the HQ's is a tax on allies? haha.

also notice that the named heralds (blue scribes, masque) seem to take up a seperate HQ slot and are not part of the 1-4 rule?

I'm hoping thats one of GW recent string of typos.

I just asked about that. I didn't realize it. I'll still play one, it'll just be in reserve, turbo boost on (a beefy 30"), then shoot during the next turn.

They also arent even independent characters.

The Masque i can almost see.. Her abilities are pretty powerful. Scribes i dont get.

I think you could take one herald for an ally.
