Bloodbowl League

I'm interested in gauging the interest of a small bloodbowl league. Gluvzer ran one in Saskatoon a few years back, and it was a ton of fun. It had much more players than I'm shooting for, but I think a small one to start with would be a good way to start it.

I'm looking at a smaller format.. like 8 teams, with a set schedule. You'll play each team in the league once with two weeks to get your game in, then there'll be division standings with a play off and there you go.

There are some some fantastic online resources for hosting and keeping track of stats, player advances, etc. all that you need for a game that has some need of some advanced record keeping such as bloodbowl.

This is just a feeler to see if we have interest for 8 players. I have 2-3 interested parties already. If you have any questions about Bloodbowl, post em here! If youve played the new computer and like it, the miniature version is more or less the same ruleswise, but so much funner since you get to trash talk your opponent, and of course roll the dice.

I do still an on getting an actual in person league up and running at some point.. But for now we're going.to be running an online one through the Bloodbowl game from steam/cyanide.

If you have the game and want to join a starting saskatoon.league.. Just le me know. The.league is called Smash League.. - coach kallidon865. Password.for joining it.is saskatoon.

Itll prob be one league.match a week for a schedule.

Yeah.. it was a mess. Me and Glover had a game the other night.. and going from adding a team to the league, not being able to play then quitting and going to another league.. it was messed up.

Its looking like we might around 8 people which would be a great number for a starting league. 8 games, one against each player then some playoffs.

As soon as we can get everyone signed up. Were also all starting new teams for it.

Once your in there will be five.. Ivan has one other guy whos going to sign up. If we can get to 8 in the next wekk we'll go with that otherwise i think we could go ahead with 6. So.. Start.probably in a week.. Ill text you if its earlier

Ivans gonna put in an orc team. I think theres a wood elf and halfling team so far.

I dont think i can start another chaos dwarf team so ill prob go with a skaven or necromantic team.

As much as i like khorne.stuff.. The khorne daemon team just looks weird. And the idea of a bloodthirster is bizarre.

Weve got five registered right now.. so if anmyone else is interested make a team and join Smash League as soon as you can. I'll prob wait unti lthe end of this next week then we'll start.

You can search for Smash League..but I couldnt find it when i tried.. but searching for player kallidon865 got it pretty quick. Password to join is saskatoon.

I think you can play with any version if im correct. You just cant make teams without the expansions.. so no khorne or chaos dwarves for you.. But i think you could make any of the others
