Cheap(er) MegaNobz
Do you balk at $30 for a 40 point infantry model? I think I've figured out a cheaper way, $13.75 a model roughly
From BWB:
Shoota arms (x5): 4 sets @ 6.99 each. $27.96
Warbiker Nob Upgrade: 10 sets @ 5.99 each. $59.90
Fantasy Black Orcs: $49.50
10 40mm round bases: $12.00
Total: 149.36
14.93/model HALF the cost.
Build the Black Orc leg and bodies.
Replace the left arm with the Power Klaws
Trim the weapon from the Right arm. Glue 2 shoots to the forearm. Glue to the model.
PROFIT.
They are still on the expensive side (+$10 more than a Termie Squad), but its way better than the Finecast.

There's apparently a plastic kit in the works

Or a nob box and a 14$ sheet of plasticard. But there is more work involved with this option.

The Nobz in the Nobz box are a bit small. You could do with the AoBR Nobz though.

That basically puts them on par with a box of termies.Roland wrote:Do you balk at $30 for a 40 point infantry model? I think I've figured out a cheaper way, $13.75 a model roughly

The Kromlech Powerklaws ship fast, are cheap, and hide seams VERY well.
