two questoins on snap fire.

I played my first game of 6th. a question came up about snapfire. can models in a transport snap fire that are normally allowed to shoot out of a transport?

the rules state that a vehicle can not snap fire as it takes to long for the weapons to bcome down and bear on the assaulters.

I am sure that it also means that a unit in a transport can not snap fire as well and that is what we played as.

the next question is if a tank has flamers on it, can they do a wall of death or is that also considered snp fire?

Transported models can indeed snapfire from their transport. Also note that passengers may fire at a separate unit if they choose.

Careful that you don't get terms mixed up, as they are fairly similar. Vehicles can snapfire, what they cannot do is fire on overwatch (except walkers)

Transported models can fire overwatch to attempt to protect their ride.

Since vehicles cannot overwatch, they cannot use their flamers when assaulted.

I found out about this the rough way to. My daemon prince assaulted a battlewagon with 20 orks.. Ouch.

I was lucky no wounds got through.. scary for a second though
