Wouldn't it have made more sense and caused less confusion to have put this post in the thread which held the context, rather than starting up a new one?

We have enough disagreements here over RAW and RAI, what is and isn't broken, and whether something is chessy/beardy or not. We don't need to bring politics into threads, we'll just piss everyone off rather than most of them.

Steering this conversation back to a more 40k related topic, prior to this forum I have never heard of the term "beardy" before. Does anyone have a rough etymology for the term? I have some vague guesses as to it's meaning, but I suspect that there might be some nuances to it I haven't grasped yet.

far as you know, your russian pen pal girl is really some 35 year old pot-bellied man with aviator sunglasses and an arkansas accent leading you on.

Im sure what they're saying is true.. BUT.. Its not about 40k or any other type of gaming for that matter.
