Didn't Realize this about vehicle facings in 6th

Anything long and skinny is gonna get hit on the side. Raiders/Ravagers/BW/Ghost arks....
Honestly it doesnt make THAT much a diff does it? Raider and Arks have the same F/S anyways?
Harder w/ Imperial Vehicles/Tau/Eldar as they are more square.

That and cover is determined based on the facing you're shooting at.

Came up in the game with planes. He could see the whole side of a land raider but was in the front arc of which he could only see a little.

ok, so if you ar in the front arc of a vehicles facing you can see the side armour so you are shooting at side armor value. then why have the picture in the rule book for armour facings? Why not just say what you see is what you can shoot at.....

If you are in the front arc you only use what you can see of the front of the vehicle to determine the cover save. So if you are in the front arc but can only see 75% it counts as being in cover even if you can see the whole side of the vehicle.
