reserves
So I'm at work and can't check the rules... But in my dark Eldar FAQ I can't assault the turn I cone in from reserve via webway portal. This crucks up my list pretty badly... This how reserves work now in general?

Re: reserves
Yep, unless it states otherwise, you can't assault the turn you come in from Reserves.
I think a couple Tyranids get around it, but that's about it.

Ugh.... GG to webway lists...
So... If we were playing 6th @ the tournament mark, it would have been a grossly uneven fight... You would have tabled me probably....
Well... Guess I need to buy more raiders, ffs
I really wanted to go with a foot dark Eldar list

Re: reserves
On a plus side, Baron dude now grants skilled rider to any unit he joins, like Reavers.

Which only makes the hellions not roll for dangerous tests.... I maybe only lose a hellion to terrain (in 5th) like once out of every 3 games.

Skilled Rider now provides +1 to your Jink save.

Re: reserves
Yes.... But unless jump infantry can jink, that part of it does not apply.
I will be bringing more ravers though... They got a heck of a lot sexier.

Re: reserves
Ya, they can't.
For jump infantry though, it's important to remember that you can only do *one* of the following per turn.
1) Use your jump pack for a 12" move in the movement phase
or
2) Use your jump pack in the assault phase to re-roll your 2D6" charge distance and earn a Hammer of Wrath I10 S(user) AP- *auto-hit*

That makes Wraiths on a Boat sound a lot more appealing now.

Re: reserves
Im not seeing alot of good changes to Eldar (Craftworld or Dark) there goes my 3 wraithlords coming out of a Dark Eldar webway portal turn 2 and assaulting the crap out of everything and scaring the crap out of someone.

Re: reserves
actually now that i think about it it makes a very strong build for a footdar list, no longer needing to walk accross the board with an autarch everything in reserve can come in on a 2+ (3+ normally +1 from autarchs master strategy rule) the half thats not in reserve will be the Dark Eldar portion and any tanks i might also be fielding. So bam turn two you have an army on your lines, course with more manuverability this might not be such a benefit any more anyways.
