League Game on Thursday/Friday April 19th/20th

Goodday Gentlemen.

Would someone be interested in some league shenanigans on Thursday or Friday evening at the den (6:15 ish)? 1500-2000 points?

I think Friday night would be a good night for some Crons vs Trons. I could field 1500 fairly easily, maybe creep towards 2000-ish if I can get my Ark built and looking nice by then. I'd get to showcase my new NecTrons, too. I've done up one warrior as a proof-of-concept, and the new scheme is much more photogenic than the last.

Sounds good to me. I'm going to keep building and painting in the mean time, I want to see if I can field my Ark Array by friday.

I will be looking for a game friday early afternoon say starting around 1245 or 1pm.

Sunday would work much better than Thursday, as Thursday is both a raid night and Rogue Trader this week. Going to get to warp eye some fools.

Fine by me.

So long as I can finish painting/assembling 7 more minis before sunday I should have a fully painted, mostly WYSIWYG list good to go (I say mostly because I haven't settled on which guns to give my Immortals). The only possible thing I see getting in my way with that goal is Blizzard decided to open up the D3 beta to everyone for this weekend only, so we'll see how that goes.

Moving shenanagans took longer than expected today. I'm trying to finish off these warriors, but depending on how things go I might have half a squad of legs walk onto the field.

Pretty decent game today. Deathmarks did an amazing first turn slaughter of the Praetorian squad by teleporting in behind them, leaving my Phaseshifter Overlord and his Destroyer Lord to do the elegant and eternal dance of assault, exchange scarabs, hit with power weapons, stand back up. Managed to blow up a few of those AV 13 skimmers with sustained Gauss fire, too. In the end, though, my one squad of immortals got spooked off of the board by a handful of warriors, thus not being able to tie the game.

It was control points, and with my Immortals absent Lore had both points. I was going to try assault shenanigans to pull his Warriors off of his point, but my overlord didn't stand back up in the last round.
