All night'r

So once again, I've put myself in the position of having to pull an all night paint sesh for a tournament.

Anyone else have this terrible habit?

Any other warp hunters out there gunna be slaved to the almighty paint station until the wee hours?

I could.. OR. ill end up with the same list as last time.. which is 100% likely at this point.

If i knew about the objective missions a month ago i might of done somethng dumb like make a henchmen list.. then i would of been screwed

Im right there with you. I hope i can get everything done before the AM but I cant promise that.

so if you see a greasy unshaven hobo walk in to the den tommorow morning that will probably be me. I just need to find a bindle stick that can carry my army.

Unfortunately painting is the bane of me. I doubt I will ever win a tourney. I'd have to skunk all of my opponents to have a chance, as someone could backdoor me on soft points.

I am not painting anything that isn't already painted.

this is why I'm glad I'm helping run it and not participating in it. seems like each time i write a new tournament list, i wind up picking models i haven't finished painting yet, instead of using the ones i have.

I was up until 2:30 last night because of the "painted bases" requirement, and I am still working on that currently. I had to re-black the bases on my warriors, since they came with a grey coat splattered with black from the previous owner. And I still need to touch up my Crypteks yet, too, as they have yet to get their gloss coat.

Having seen what some of the other folks brought to the tournament last time I don't expect my first and second bids at painting to win, but at least I will have the satisfaction of fielding my own army this time. Here is hoping I get another fist full of sixes like I got earlier this week.

I have a few models yet to touch up, I have had no time to do any of it yet.
I will try to get some in tonight if I am lucky. But with my skills at painting it is unlikely that I will do well in the scoring.

For ToonCon I was up til 5am. Never seems like enough time.

Whew! Ready for the tourney now with some time to spare, might do some touch-ups on the barge over night.
