Vacation back to Niagara and the in-laws in April.... so I dropped the guys @ MWG gaming a line and asked if they were still taking challengers for their "Beat Matt Batrep". Still waiting for a response.

The Ultrawing! It would be awesome to take, and doesn't take up much room in transit.

I'm deciding between my Mech/Bookmobile list, the Vulkan list, or Ultrawing. And yes, Ultrawing has a definate advantage w/ size. If they dont get back to me, I'll probably take my stuff anyway and just show up for a game sometime.

Beau take the Vulkan list. Matt will field his Necrons. So he will field 3, 4 base scarab units. Lord with mind shackle scarabs, connected to 5 Lynch Guard. 3 Warriors in an Ark and a full ten man Immortal Squad.

Your first turn drop the ten man stern by a ark or by the Immortal immobilize the warriors or thin the Immortals. If he fields a death ray thingy then drop the stern there and take the bitch out... Use the thunder fire cannon to take out the scarabs. Move the land raider up dump the termies out and let them play....

Matt seems like a decent sort of fellow. You guys should have a fun game.

Indeed he does, and I'm wondering where the hell these guys were when I was learning to play in Niagara. The crew i always ran into @ Phoenix Rising (FLGS) were kinda pros at being dicks.

Yeah, I gotta watch some more of the batreps. They do look a little light on terrain (that said I notice they have a terrain build every month or two. Maybe they're trying to build up there terrain?).

Still haven't heard back, but then it is the weekend.

I am definitely open to having a game.
I generally have games from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. I prefer to do them at 1pm whenever possible.
Is there a time in there that works for you?
