Man, I can't wait for Night Scythes to come out. I might get Darren to put aside 3 of those kits for me (Two Night Scythes and One Doom Scythe for fun)

One would hope that they do a dual kit like the ark so that you can make whichever scythe you want from it

I think the odds are pretty good for a dual kit, as it would consist of swapping one bit (Cannon vs. Portal) to change between and Night Scythe and a Doom Scythe.

That is definitely the way they've been doing all their vehicle kits lately.

Wow, those are two pretty bad lists. Deathmarks? Yikes. No obliterators? Yikes. Although the Chaos list was much better than the Necron one. Table was brutal too. Where is the terrain? Could you imagine playing versus IG on that board? Agree about the ghost arks. I could see one or two having some use kinda like a Tau devilfish, but spamming them is obviously horrible.

Ah you watch beat matt to eh!!! And Tim if I am correct I think there was 4 to 6 Obliterators. I think alot of Necron lists will become alot more mobile, once that flyer is out.

Was a pretty standard dual lash list.
Over all the necron guy got off easy. So many bad dice for csm and he still pulled offthe win.

Slightly off topic, but those guys (MWG) have set up shop like 2 blocks from where a buddy of mine used to live. When I was in Niagara I was maybe a 10 min drive from there (That said it look like they started up in 2008, which was right when I took a job in Texas.) I don't remember seeing ANY of them at the local shop I played at, and I'm pretty sure most of the boards and mat'ls they got from the local Games Workshop in Burlington when it shut down, several of the boards look familiar.

As for the batrep, those list seem fairly standard for what I saw in Niagara (closer to White Dwarf than tournament build). I don't really have to much of an issue with the lists, but planet bowling ball needs to go. I did notice on their website they are having several terrain building events.

A couple of the "Beat Matt Batrep"'s from Season 2 have more terrain. They have a couple of ruined buildings and such.

But ya... if I was going to play on those tables, I'd totally take 3 Monoliths and Deep Strike them in! *laughs*

i think they were actual metal oblitz. all his stuff is just puke green with silver weapons, so it was hard to distinguish, Most of the chaos stuff just looks like silver blobs when the camera was on him.

Believe the army was

2x prince
3x2 oblitz
3x5 plagues /w melta or plasma + fist champ- rhinos /w combi-melta
1x6 noise marines +PW champ -rhinos /w havoc launchers
1x 6 termies
8-10 Lesser Daemons(bloodletters)

Not the worst list I've seen. he would have been better served by splitting his terminator squad into two halves. probably.
And i didn't see a point to the noise marines. i guess they were meant to hold his home base, as that was the rhino with the havoc launcher.(or perhaps he was praying to the composition gods that one unit of cult troops matching his princes would be enough to get past the Fluff Nazi's)
