Anrakyr the Traveller

Mr. Voth has shown me the light, and now a question.

I think I know how I'd build one, with some Lychguard bits, cryptek bits, and some other bits....

Is it worth my time? Do you think GW will make one in January?

I'm out of stuff to paint so....

I'm going to give this a go. I might be finished my Anrakyr Conversion by the weekend.

On the plus side, I'll also have another Barge (I'd like one, and I need the plastic lord legs too)...

Overlord bits, Lychguard bits, Cryptek bits, and cut up bits of a "gold" chain (I bought a raft of junk jewelry to use for my Chaos army a long long time ago, so it was a pleasure to find in 'ye olde bits box).

Next up is how to paint the guy.

Should I
1) Paint it in the theme of my current army? Red and Bronzey?
2) Paint it sorta kinda like Imotek but not really like Imotek?
3) Paint it something crazy different?

I'm between 1 & 3... I think that gold chain would look nice with my existing colour palette.

The gold chain looks really cool.

Personally I would paint him to your existing color scheme because I just like a uniform look. But really its a paint how you like kinda deal.

I hope you didn't raid Sara's jewelry box for that chain...

Trazyn the Infinite. I did such a good job, I can't believe I painted him.

I did a base coat, metallics, 3 washes, then started in on the details.

I managed to free-hand the edging on the shoulder. Only thing I would change is the "darkness" inside the neck cavity. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the result. I'll be bringing him to the Den today.
