Necron Spyders
For some reason the Fabricator Claw Array upgrade for the Canoptek Spyder is a close combat weapon. Does adding a close combat weapon to a monstrous creature give it +1A in close combat?

Nope, currently the array doesn't do anything extra for the Tomb Spyder in CC. It's possible that this is an inclusion for 6th edition though, or maybe it's just redundant wording that's redundant.

Alright then Mr. Smarty Pants. How does the Mindshackle Scarabs work if my lord is only fighting one other dude? He presumably can't attack himself, so does he lose his attacks, or does it just not work?

Well, the one dude is still a unit consisting of himself, so he will wail on himself I think.

That seems like a pretty good piece of wargear. It would have even been more effective if Paz used it right. Leadership on 3d6 Paz, not an I test!
