New to Saskatoon

Hello, my name is Gavin. I just moved to Saskatoon from a small town and would like to get into the 40k community in the area. I have a decent sized space marine army (about 1500-1700) points and have played a fair few games although it has been several months since then. If anyone wants to take on the might of the Imperium I would like to get some friendly games in.

Hey Gavin, welcome to the site.

There should be a league starting up shortly.. pretty mellow gameplay.. $5 for the sign-up and theres actually quite a few new players kicking around the site here lately.

Games usually happen on Wed evenings, sometimes Thu down at Dragons Den.

Is it just a show up with your army on Wednesday and find someone to play? I usually work till about five. I would for sure join the league next time it opens up.

Hello and welcome.

It's best if you post in the "Thunderdome" thread here on this sight and try to arrange a game in advance, by asking for or answering someone. If you just show up, you aren't guaranteed a game or a table to play on for that matter, but it doesn't hurt to try.
