F#cking Remakes

You know makes me mad.. remakes. You know what makes me even madder, remakes of the best movies ever made.

The Thing, the best horror movie ever made.. has it's remake coming out shortly.. and it looks awful. Some young chick replacing a bearded, drunk, helicopter pilot Kurl Russel.. wtf are they thinking. Damn is this gonna be awful. And yes, I know.. before we get to far into rantville, The Thing is already a remake of a 50's movie.. but nothing from the 50's is good so has to be remade.

Anyway, if they want to re-release the Thing.. they should just air this at theaters because of how awesome it is.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2tdmdMamEY

On a much happier note, Human Centipede 2 is due out in a couple weeks.. we prob wont see it here for a few months.. but man o' man, it looks scary as hell.

Centipede 1 is an awfully disgusting film. But making the sequel a movie about someone copying the movie after watching it is an interesting idea.

Its also the "Full Sequence".. 3 segments is nothing.. HC 2 has a full 12 segment centipede.. wooo doggie.

I just pray that South Park does a Human Centipad 2 episode..

Still haven't seen Human Centipede, but heard lots about it.

I only read a tiny bit about it.. and it was a long time ago.. and from what I can tell, they are trying to stick a bit more with the actual short story.. I guess a bit more realistic and suspenseful... ? Which also means is going to be a big shit pile compared to Arnold's..

Colin Farrell.. Pfffffffff... I could get on board if was completely different thant Arnie's, had the same feel of Minority Report for example... but Colin Farrell?

At some point, once they've remade every Arnold movie.. with people who aren't Arnold.. they'll have to realize it can't be .. and shouldn't be done.

I have this recurring nightmare that I'm going to wake up to find out they're remaking Predator with Taylor Lautner as Dutch..

For Total Recall, I just know Farrell will not do justice to my favorite line.. or not do it at all.

The original from the 50's was actually really good. If you're a fan of the Carpenter version you should see it. The Robocop remake has me bummed out the most. And Conan was freakin' awful.

Man I love the John Carpenter remake of the thing. I heard the new one is crappy and I just can't bring myself to see it because it might ruin it.

I still havent had a chance to watch it, but I did feel a bit better after I learnt it wasnt a remake, but a prequel to the Carpenter remake.

John Carpenter can do no wrong..

to be fair that "prequel" fits together with the carpenter movie as well as any puzzle piece does when you use a hammer on it. a fair chunk of the tie-ins were super forced and then there is the fact another camp spawned out of no where. sorry for some spoilers but carpenters is one of my favorite movies and i was VERY annoyed with this one...

Actually, the prequel fits perfectly with the 80s original. Have u seen the original, ruik? They actually go to the first camp, where they find the ship nearby. The film was excellent, and matched the original exactly, down to the original european base design and bodies they find. So calm your jets homies, it's good.

actually my apologies. my major problem with this pre-qual is the fact that they made this into a monster flick, not the thing. I dont know i could be crazy but this movie did not have the same vibe to it as the last one and perhaps im just being to critical of it. Regardless worth a watch at least once.
