Grey Knight WIP
Knight of the Flame
Justicar
Purifier with Psycannon
may have noticed im also experimenting with a new light box i made last night to improve these photos.
Purifiers will have white helms, the left chapter pad will have a white inset instead of silver, and their weapon casings will be white.
Strikers will be painted so that their inset scripture on their armor, and any piping i think looks appropriate, will be drybrushed to look like its glowing a light blue color. reference the intro trailer for Hellgate: London for the inspiration on that one.

Re grey knights
Ya looks good but to clean. I'd dry brush on some grey or bolt gun metal. Shows off the edges a little. Still a thumbs up

yea, these guys arent done yet, they're at best 80% each. but the purifiers will have very clean almost-white silver for their armour for fluff reasons. by grey knight standards, purifiers are more pure of mind and heart than their fellow brothers, than what a normal grey knight would be compared to any other marine chapter.

True true. When I start my purifiers I was thinking of giving a kinda blue silver wash on the armor in key areas. Been testing it out on my dreadknight with mixed results

Re: Grey Knight WIP
certainly. it's....go buy a can of white spray paint.
really.
i dont build up or anything, i just spray white primer from either P3 or Army Painter, and then if i want another color sprayed on, i cover the white with sticky-tac.
any touch ups i need to do are just right-out-of-the-pot skull white.
because your spraying it on, as long as you spray DOWN and dont flip the model over and spray UP, you'll get a natural zenithal effect and wont have to highlight or shade or any of that crap, as the white will hit it at an angle to cause naturally occuring shading effects.
It's done all the time with real vehicles and equipment when they want to do a multi-tone paint job, and as we all know, painting techniques that turn out good on large smooth surfaces, turn out good on small objects too.
