Did anyone else order the Ultramarines movie?

It had a slight production delay in something other than the movie in the special edition set, they aren't saying what it was, but the good news is it's shipping out now. I'm pretty excited to check it out.

The latest PC game also had a big section on 40k itself, focusing on the three game coming out shortly. Space Marine, the 40k MMORPG, and the Dawn of War 2 expansion.

Ordered and now waiting.
Its going to be interesting to see more of the fluff outside of the war zone for the marines.

Wow, mine finally came yesterday. Got a chance to watch it.. and yeah, it wasnt bad. Definitely wasnt groundbreaking and .. wow, the animation kind of sucked. But, the story was ok and I did like thhe voice acting.. its to bad that none of the actual faces matched the acting.

Anyhoo, not sure how well its being received. Would be nice to see some more movies like this...

it felt pretty short to me, i wasn't actually too impressed with it myself, but it wasn't bad

It was kind of short for a movie, being just a bit over one hour. And the animation wasn't amazing, but I would consider it very good considering that it was not done by a major animation studio, (people at pixar would have had infinetly greater resources)

The sound was done very well, the music, voices, and sfx were all spot on. But the content wasn't too groundbreaking. I would have considered it a 5 star pilot episode for a TV show, but more like a 2-3 star movie if, and only if, you know enough about the 40k universe.
