This is my latest project. I wanted to try using the dabbing method that was in the last issue of gameforce magazine. It diddnt turn out much like the example i was trying to follow, but man, was that article ever terribly written. They are going to have to work on the quality allot.

I wish that my pictures were better, as these are not 100% accurate in terms of color. Looking for any feedback on how to improve it though... im not happy with the mud at all, and i think it conflicts with the rust, in that the body looks like dry rust. Maybe a drybrush on the tires would help.
and yea, i need to get a copy of photoshop again

I thought that article was kind of neat! I just looked at the results and didn't bother reading the step by step on it. Shame it's not written well. ALL of the stuff in GF magazine is written very poorly. I only buy it because I like the pictures, and most of those guys are easy to get a hold of if you have any questions. Most of them have english skills WAY better than the translator of that mag for sure!

The Battlewagon...

I like it! I think more weathering would be neat, but the pic's might be hiding some of the work.

The mud. I like the colour and consistency of it but I think you should've, or maybe still can, wipe the mud off the actual tread of the tire. Having mud in between the treads and all over the place is cool but the rubber should be exposed from where the tire meets the ground while driving I think.

It's nice stuff? It's all plastic over a toy, or pure scratchbuilt?

There's a dude who posts on CoolMiniorNot who goes by UberDark. You should check out his gallery. He does a LOT of these type of Ork vehicles. I really like his Ork monobikes.

Looks cool. I like the way the color worked out in the 3rd photo. I agree with Scott on the tires. Looks like the mud is a bit over done.

Thanks Scott,
The model is basically scratch built. I used the tires and a couple pieces of chassis from some toys, but more or less its ground up except the tires. You are right about the mud, i knew something wasnt right... and it is that the treads should be sticking out. I will have to work on that. Id like to get some better pics and put it up on cmon as well, and then maybe try to auction it on ebay.
I will go check out UberDark as well. Thanks for the feedback.

I really like it, its got that orky feel.. One thing though, it hasn't got enough grots and orks and emblems hanging off it to make it reeeally orky.
