Paint day on April 25th?

Hey, I got asked to show some painting stuff to a dude. I thought maybe if others were interested in doing a paint day on the 25th down at the den it might be fun. I threw it out to the Ravenign Hordes warhammer dudes too.

Yeah I'd bring what you typically paitn with. Bring your paints, your brush etc. If you use a little lamp I'd bring it. Learning is way better I think if you can use the equipment you're gonna be using on a regular basis. See you then!

Wall sockets are at a premium, so i will bring along a 6 plug power bar. We might want to ask the den to reserve that front set of tables for us as well. If my memory is correct the only two sockets back there are right at the front of the room.

Yeah, I usually nick the supermassive extension cord, but that will only hold 3 plugins, so a powerbar would be a good idea, with the giant metal monster I use for a lamp.

yeah I always bring along a power bar, so if cam brings one too we should have it all covered.

I think im going to try and make it down. sounds like a good way to get the paint ball rolling again.

Hey Scott. What happened?

Cam, Tom and I were there, as usual, knocking out some sweet paint solos and power-chords, but we noticed a decided lack of other people painting. There were some dudes painting fantasy stuff, but they stayed to themselves mostly.

i was planning on comming till i had to head up to humbolt for a dinner with family, i did let scott know a week ago i think

Yea, attendance was very lackluster.

Well since I live out in the boonies and can't really drive myself at the moment, my mom was not very willing to drive into the city because of the snow.

I'll get the next paint day.

Alex= Cam (lexmechanic) and I were referring to the people who said they were coming. Paint day attendance is not mandatory.

Johnny= Fair enough. It doesn't hurt though to post up in the relevant thread if you are unable to attend, it helps people who are thinking of coming, in deciding if its worth all the trouble, seeing as as Scott didn't end up coming out.

P.S= If I hear anyone complain about having no painted models, or not having any ability in painting, at league night (ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE TAKING PART IN THE FLUFF LEAGUE), I will remind them that this paint day is available to them to learn some tips from us veteran painters. So if you have the day free, and don't come out, I suggest taking a look at the Tuff league. We have the two available for a reason.

I suggest looking into the tuff league anyways, I mean I'll lay the beat down in either league but I'm short on opponents for the 'ard boyz league.

I was going to show Johnny some stuff. He had to postpone so I got wicked drunk instead. Still thought about going but I didn't really see daylight until about 4:00pm.
