Come on Cam, you didn't read my note before the list? I said it's all about crushing the opponent with no concern for objectives.

Well then drop the SINGLE 5 MAN SCORING UNIT for more deathcompany. yoyo. Also, take astorath instead of dante. you don't need the sang guard in a dc smashfest. i know you are trying to include models you got, its what I'm finding difficult as well, but if a bash and smash is all you are there for, dante and his boys are totally out of place.

Astorath means your dc squads can break up into smaller units, to chase mothers down, instead of being led around by the nose by sacrificial units.

This list is lame... it needs like 3 more dreadnoughts and like 10 more death company, don't even get me started on what a wussy dante is. On a related note greg, I would consider droping dante for a cheaper librarian hero and maybe dropping one of the dreads for a troops choice to hold points, I know you just want to pound someone into dust and win that way but after you lose a few games because they were all objective based... or a big scary demon spider kicked all your dreads in the back of the head, You'll reconsider one of them for a more "assault squad in a drop pod"-esque choice.

Plus, for 1850 points a true master would find a way to fit 8 dreadnoughts and not take any scoring units, because scoring units can deepstrike after the battle and clean up all the beer cans your dreads crush on their armoured heads after the battle.

If you are planning on keeping Dante with the sanguine guard you might want to save yourself 25pts and not give them the death masks. Dantes mask will function the same as the guards so why double them up?
Just a thought.

So based on the comments, i started to hate my list. So i replaced it with the 5th ocmpnay list I originally started to think of when I first got the codex. It's much more balanced and will still be able to play on the death dealing close combat, but with much more support. And dante and sang guard fit better too (i really want to use these guys).
BTW, 5th company is know as "daemonbanes" and hammers seem to be the popular death for daemons, so ya...
