What would you do with it.

Well, a recent post got me thinking, what would you do with the money if every dime you spent on war gaming was refunded in a magical GW loyalty refund. Anything is fine jokes or serious things.

Just last night I said I'd like to try having a coke addiction but my models cost too much.

Seriously if I had it all back though, I'd probably take a trip to Pacific Asia for on cuisine tour of Korea China Japan and Thailand. I like war gaming and all but I love authentic Asian food.

And now bumming myself out with reality, if I had it back I'd get the rattle in my car fixed and pay off some student loans

I'd go play golf in vegas for 2 weeks... and then I'm not sure what I'd do with the rest... probably spend it on other things in vegas.

Well Freezingoon I've been to Korea and the food is fricking awesome the beers are a third bigger and for 50 Canadian you can get a five star hotel room. Fully loaded hotel room, they have everything in those rooms. Just hope there isn't a fire, they give a rope to climb down the building. I SH T you not.

well i would have to say i would use the money i spent on armies that i bought and quite and re-invest in my current armies i would also keep some for the nice things like FOOD!!!!!

Hmmm. Good question, but I think the answer is obvious. To me anyway. I'd make a movie. A documentary actually. It would be a gauranteed way to make me money and get me my 15 minutes owed to me.

My movie would be called "Beer's with George". It would be a movie about how I think George Clooney, as portayed in the media is a decent dude. The kind of guy I'd like to go out and have beers with.

So I'd need a small 3 man crew and some film stock. Maybe we'd go cheapo digital, dunno. I'd start off with my pitch. The first ten minutes would be clips of A-List =I=censor=I= bags like Sean Penn being turds on camera with my voice over talking about "Who wants to go drinking with a dude who's just going to =I=censor=I= about Iraq, WMD's and then maybe kick my ass when I talk about Madonna?". Stuff like that. Then we get rolling.

We follow my dream of knocking glasses with one of the true icons of cool on our planet. George Clooney is to our age what a dude like Ghandi was to a bunch of peace loving fags a couple o' decades ago. He is EASILY bigger than Jesus was. So I want to know if it's all real, or just a media spin on a persona. Is there a real George that exists when the camera's are off? Does a man continue to be cool when there are no photographers around?

But that does not a movie make. We start at the bottom of the mountain before we plant our flag at the top. I track down someone like Noah Wylie from the E.R. days. That kid hasn't done =I=censor=I= in a long time so I meet him, and we go for beers. Noah then passes me up the chain to the next ur-celeb to get me closer to George. I'm thinking someone from a guest spot on E.R. It JUST came to me.... Quentin Tarantino.

As a once-upon-a-time struggling filmaker and the man who co-starred in Geroge's big screen debut I think we can get some good screen time there. That should be a journey. A good time, but for sure bankable celluloid. I'm guessing I can count on 20 minutes of screen time from this rendezvous. So where to from there? A man can dream of hitting up Brad Pitt. I actually think he's a decent dude too, and he might kind of get a kick out of spending some time answering questions about "What's it like to hang out with the only other two time people magazine sexiest man of the year" instead of questions like "What's it like being married to a bat =I=censor=I= crazy baby collector?". This should be good for some time too. Or... if it's a no go then the phone calls and such should be at elast as entertaining as when Micheal Moore tries to get interviews with big CEO's and fails. Who knows?

I got other ideas to lace the movie. I try to get George's hometown to make a day "Clooney appreciation day". As a joek I will reccomend Dec 25th. FUNNY! Stuff like that.

SO in the happy ending I meet Clooney. We hang. I get drunk as =I=censor=I=. And tell the tale the next day. Just a brief, "Yep, he's the man" or maybe a little "Noah Wylie is actually WAY better looking than Clooney in the flesh." Who knows.

So... how do you market a movie like this? Well first thing is with such a small budget (I'm thinking 25 grand max) I can easy make money back just from getting a sundance screening. Should be no prob if Tarantino can make the flick.

Then there's the talk show gig. This get's me my 15 min of fame plus puts some cash in my jeans with movie sales. Ellen is always gushing about George Clooney, she'd book me in a sec. Where there's Clooney, there's interest. Letterman, Kimmel, O'brien wherever he lands (=I=censor=I= Leno) and should be a gauranteed 2-3 million in my pocket when all is done.

At least that's what I think would work best. If I won 50 million I have a way better but similar idea. But on this budget it's all I think I can do.

Yeah Robyn! I loved it. I sent it to Glover immediately. It's SUCH a good idea I can't believe that movie wasn't made during the heyday of Friday the 13th and the Elm Street movies. Looks awesome!

It'll never play here though. Good thing I can watch it on my 50" plasma TV connected to either one of my two Blu-Ray players. No big deal. Or I could always download it off the net and watch it on my super swanky 25"ish monitor in High Def. You know what the best part of this new monitor is? Going to my bank account and seeing just how BROKE I am in really crisp, clear, and ENORMOUS sized font. It's pretty slick. No biggie...

Hey scott, a movie like you described was similarily made a few years back. this guy had a huge crush on drew barrimore and wanted a date with her. SO he bought a video camera from circuit city but couldn't afford it so he gave himself the 30 day deadline to return it for a full refund. He actually went hunting to anyone that could connect him to drew and even had a website made for him. He didn't make the deadline though and had to return the camera. He made some people fell bad for him though and got the camera back and then drew saw his website when one of her buds told her about it and guy got the date (even though she was married/engaged i don't remembered which). good flick though. i watched it before when i had a huge crush on her.

There you go, the key to making a movie like that is to be a super weird stalker type.
