i might i love gw game designers and writers and the guys near the bottom, but the guys up top dont care about the game they just care about money.

Ben... How is that different from any other company? Warmachine may have a different business plan, but it doesn't mean they care any more about you. Just becuase your army doesn't get a new codex as much as marines, doesn't mean its becuase GW hates you.
If GW put money into something that didn't do well, they would be in trouble. You wouldn't get more stuff, no rules, no figs.
I've played this game a long time Ben. A lot of new players have this wierd idea that we used to live in a "golden age" of models and units. Not true. There have been different trends, some bad (white dwarf becoming a shopping mag) some good (amazing, cheap plastics!), but its never cut and dry.

you make a good point but i heard, that warmachine was originally a couple of guys from gw that quit and started there own company, but you are right they probably eventually got consumed by power and are now money hoarders(no pun intended).

Ben I'll put it to you like this, 40k is a pretty nerdy hobby, but no body likes the gelatinous creatures that play Warmachine.

Ben warmachine is fun. I found it kind of weird after playing 40k for a while.

Re: warmachine
Well, the best thing Warmachine has going for it is that it is a different game from 40K. Sometimes, everyone just needs a break away from the game a bit to recharge the batteries. I havent played for about 3 weeks now, and Im starting to feel charged up. Mind you, I hadnt that big of a break in 5 years, so its probably a healthy thing.
So, Im just gonna continue to enjoy the time off here, play some video, computer, board games and be all set to start up when they release the Chaos codexes!
Which should happen in about 3 years.. grrrr..
Actually, Im REALLY looking forward to the battle missions books, expect those to be standard adoption for the league when we startup again.
