Personal Hygiene... Again.
I don't know why this needs to be mentioned again, but...
Bathing and Deoderant are a REQUIREMENT when playing on the back tables.
For those that don't know...
Body hygiene pertains to hygiene practices performed by an individual to care for one's bodily health and well being, through cleanliness. Motivations for personal hygiene practice include reduction of personal illness, healing from personal illness, optimal health and sense of well being, social acceptance and prevention of spread of illness to others.
Personal hygiene practices include: seeing a doctor, seeing a dentist, regular washing/bathing, and healthy eating. Personal grooming extends personal hygiene as it pertains to the maintenance of a good personal and public appearance which need not necessarily be hygienic.
Body hygiene is achieved by using personal body hygiene products including: soap, hair shampoo, toothbrushes, tooth paste, cotton swabs, antiperspirant, facial tissue, mouthwash, nail files, skin cleansers, toilet paper.

Agreed Chris. Guys, there is one specific person at the den this is directed at. I'm not gunna call out names, but seriously, I could barely go in the back on Wensday, it was so eye-wateringly bad.
If the person in question can't pull his stuff together, take a shower and get some deoderant, Darren will become involved. I'm sure no one wants to kick anyone out, but something's gotta happen. That kind of body odor... its not acceptable. It turns off new players, helps foment the smelly gamer stigmata, and makes other players not want to come.

Next wednesday I'm name calling this dude out if he smells again, so if you're even slightly worried it's you watch a few axe commercials and take notes.

Axe bodywash, not spray. spray smells foul and when mixed with BO turns toxic...

Instead of publicly attempting to humiliate the offender into correcting the issue, wouldn't it be both polite and intelligent to take them aside PRIVATELY, or send them a polite message notifying them that you have noticed a body odour issue on more than one occassion and believe they are the cause?
I speak to this from personal experience. All through High School, I had a body odour problem (Still do, which is why I shower twice daily whenever possible. Occassionally I miss one, and when I do, I know it causes a bit of a stench). The thing is, nobody had the courtesy or guts to tell me about it, and people get used to their own smell and the smells of those they live in close proximity to, and so cannot tell. SO, for years through high school, instead of anybody telling me - teachers, fellow students, etc - They just talked about it behind my back, until Grade 12 when I was in a job placement program and a SINGLE man had enough sense to inform me that the reason I was having trouble finding employment might have something to do with my odour. Was I offended? Well sure, slightly, I was a 17 year old kid who had just been told that I stank, but it gave me the opportunity to FIX the problem.
If people think it's one 'dude' (Which a few posters here so far seem to), and it's something that's occured on multiple occassions, then say something. Discretely and Privately, not Publicly.
Coming on here and making rants about what constitutes personal hygiene, or jokes about 'taking notes from axe commercials', is just plain bad form. Public humiliations and rudeness turns off new players, helps foment the elitist gamer stigmata, and makes other players not want to come.
