Re: Foodmachine?
The tourney went well, the organization was good and the games were interesting as always. I thought the ticket options were alright. They were missing a few more interesting ones from the previous year.
Don mentioned that we raised over 1300 food items. Congrats to all who came and supported a good cause.
I think this tourney is quite important as over 12000 people use the food bank each month. I was a little disappointed at how few 40k players where there, but despite the lack of players we had fun and helped a charity. I hope to see more players next year.

Yeah, it was loads of fun, I like the laid back way we had it, though as chris said, 8 people when league nights have 10-20 showing up is abysmal.
Just a shout out, almost all the armies there were painted! Also a mention for Dana, in my opinion, best painted with those assault marines!

Re: Foodmachine?
The tournament was fantastic. The war gaming community really stepped up and a lot of food was brought in. I was a shame more 40k folks didnt try to make it out. With only 8 players we just made our own match ups for every game which was a lot of fun. The last game was probobly the best because with only that game to spend ticket we had warmachine guys giving 40k players extra tickets and vice versa. So thing where getting pretty wild, It was a great time.
Hopefully next year 40k will step up a little more then we did this year

Well i dont think its been done, so i wanted to give a big thank you to Tom for taking on the running of the tournament. From what i have heard you did a very good job of making it an enjoyable event. Its really good to see someone new in the community (relatively) who is able and willing to step up and take this sort of thing on.
