Ohhh....I was looking at the "rules" on the forgeworld site......Paz's pics are unforetunately missleading a bit....but in a good way. I thought the dread was HUGE....but it is not.
The tank is a Super-Heavy......but exceptionally versitile in the shots it can fire.....it even has a Hellstorm Template if can fire outta the main gun.
The Mega Dread is just a "big" dread. It can be played in a normal game and it is not all that crazy.

WS 4; BS 2; S 8(10); F 13; S 13; R 11; I 2; A 3
Weapons:
KillKannon (same as battlewagon)
Ripper Claw (Dreadnought Powerfist with +1 to Damage Table rolls)
2 Big Shootas
Extra Armour
As well, it is a Ramshackle Monster --> Give it a 5+ invulnerable save.
There are some options you can add to it. One gives it fleet for 1 round for 15 points, and you can have 2 CC arms or 2 cannons (counting the cannon as TL)
So, it is tough.....but I dont think it is really overpowered.....especially considering Killkannon is 24" range. Plus, it will be a fire magnet. I dont think any cover would be able to hide it.

Doesnt seem to bad at all.. very comparable to a Defiler. But yeah, it does look super cool... I wish they'd some more Dread's like this for marines.. just bigger guys then the regular ones.. the regular ones are so tiny.

Does anyone know any ork players who use stock kits for their vehicles?
I like the dreadnought thing, but I think most of the armies I see use either sctachbuilt stuff, looted stuff from other ranges all convertified and stuff.

Now that the Orks are actually starting to get decent stuff, there more and more out of the box stuff. The trukks are the main ones..
Before this new stuff through.. I think only the guys who enjoyed the challenge of making the scratch built stuff went towards Orks.. becasue there stock models were so horrible. The old Ork trukk. that was awesome.. you could physically fit .. what.. 4 guys in the flat bed.. and it could hold. 20! Awesome.

I am seriously considering ordering it, but I wont know until after the weekend. If I do decide to order it, all I will need is about another 120 pounds to make the magic 250.
I will post on here later this weekend to let others know if I am going to do an order

I havn't seen any on the table here yet, but they do look extremely good and if I played vehicles I would use the GW/FW vehicles over scratch built, and not just because I'm =I=censor=I= at building things either lol.
