Well if my colorful subject didn't get to you. I was splurking over at BOLS and i seen that GW went and bumped Valkeryie prices from 50 - 58. I'm assuming that's US, and if that is so it's 70 Cdn. Grrrrrrr. I'm not really complaining i guess i'm still gonna get 2 Valkeryies but still.....

ok it coats 10 dollars to make 10 guys and they charge us 50 for 10 guys and the prices are higher every day someone should protest.

It definitely doesn't cost them $10 to make a box of their $50 mini's. I think GW sells most of it's product to retails at a cost that if the retail takes GW suggeted selling prices, they can end up with 40-50 points of margin. That's why you see lots of online companies selling then for 20-25% off regular listed prices.

GW has made some HUGE improvements in their entire line in the past few years. Core box sets coming out for $25.. !! They've also made big moves to make sure core units and vehicles all come out in a plastic kit.

I dont think a $8 hike on what was a rumoured price on a model before it's even released is cause to complain at all.. just my two cents!

ebay for the win? use ebay, going rate is about 10cents a point... and theres some even better deals right now cuz kids are broke in the states... I just picked up 3000points of tau for $210 with shipping in, love it, if only I could use 5 hammer heads in an army.... oh well I'll have to pick up the apocalypse rulebook...
