Hello, new in town and to 40k

Hello,
My name is Jon, I moved to Saskatoon a few months ago and would like to start playing warhammer again. I was playing Chaos, but will be switching to Tau and Necron. I am still learning the rules for both, but would like to play some games. Is there a casual league her? I still need to throw some paint on both armies.

Welcome to the forum Jon. There is a league going right now. Just started. You could probably get in on it. Check the post up at the top. I'm sure you could be added in if you dropped a message to Paz. Friday nights at Dragons Den the guys usually meet to get games in. Other than that you can always post in the thunder dome to organize a game for when you are available.

sure, is there a specific time that everyone plays or do you just play when schedules work.

You can either schedule games in the thunderdome section, or join the hunters of the warp facebook group for games.

You can also try and show up to play, but that is really hit and miss. The den is quite busy with magic, warmahordes, flames of war, age of sigmar etc so we usually play thursday-friday nights if something gets set up
