pre-orders
taurox still ugly as sin. God GW, what were you thinking.
Like the stormtroopers tho!
altar of war compendium up, could be interesting to gather all the extra missions together.

They are the imperial guard, renamed. Taurox is their shitty new jeep thing. It's like a Rhino & Razorback combined... yet still crap.
If the Chimera remains largely unchanged, it's still the go-to tank.
A meched up imperial guard list would still be scary... need to see the new book first.

Re: ~tempestus up!~
the GW site has them in a seperate entry from guard which is odd to me. when they put out adeptis sororitas they removed the sisters section.

Re: ~tempestus up!~
I am pretty sure that this is just a supplement to the Guard. Kinda like the Inquisistor Codex. The weird part is that they put out the supp before the new codex.

Re: ~tempestus up!~
I'm gonna switch my list....
Imp guard-tempestus supplement
Allied to IH space marines
With a knight, coteaz, a baneblade, am aegis line with that new bit from stronghold ass.,
Stormtroopers def ride in a valk.
Also a squad of damned legionairres.
So that's....7 codecii, and 4 rulebooks? Oh and cypher for shits and giggles.
Yes I know, I'm being ridiculous. I'm not even sure you can do it under 2000.
Is there anything that would be decent w/ that many sources?

In the event someone is looking to pick up the Taurox but going to put wheels or something on instead of the treads, I'm most interested in getting those bits for some other projects I'm working on.

It seems that Chapter House is already on the ball with this. They're offering up 4 packs of the wheels that normally come with their Chimera conversion kit now.

Re: ~tempestus up!~
just a little compiling of whatès in the rumor thread on B&C about C:MT
from one of the moderators:
Yea, so I just broke down and bought it.
orders:
As for using them:
C: MT is a a new faction, like knights. Use them as a primary, or allied as per normal armies. Formations are "special form of detachment", like the norm.
Vendettas are NOT in this book, and thus not available in a MT detachment.
No vendetta whatsoever, only the standard Valkyrie options. You can swap the multi las for cannon.
HQ
- commissar
- command squad
Troops
- Scion squad (not platoons)
FA
- Taurox Prime (is also DT for all squads)
- Valkyrie squadron (up 25, rocket pods down 30, otherwise same)
25pt commissars (when summary execution happens, on a 3+ you pick which random shmoe takes the headshot, 1-2 your opponent decides; also, new commissar models on the way!).
Otherwise, rules unchanged from the WD.
Non-apocalypse formations are awesome, and give back some things that ST lost, like reroll the DS (only when jumping out a Valkyrie).
- Airborne attack formation (mounted in valks, starts in reserves, gains reroll DS)
- Ground attack formation (mounted in piggies, gotta reread)
The fluff and pictures...droooool.
