Assault vs shooting

Just wondering if anyone had thoughts on what made a better army in 5th, shootiness or assaultiness? In the last edition there was no question that shooting was better. I know its a little early to tell, but with the changes to running, lack of area terrain, and the fact that you cannot consolidate into another unit after a wipeout, as well as the new combat resolution modifiers, what do people think?
