tau human auxillaries

is it legal to use human auxillaries in my army i found a statline that seems pretty fair its under chapter approved human auxiliaries i mean it fits fluff wise and its under chapter apprved so is anyone adverse to me using it?

There is a chapter approved article for tau aux. It was from the old dex, but as I remember, they were underpowered on purpose, more for fluff than being useful. Bring along the CA article, and I think most ppl would be cool with it.

ben when it comes to conversions my advice is to make them anyway. You can always call them guard and use the guard codex in fun games. Most of us won't about care playing against. Just be sure to past that your using them if you decide to go this route then if someone gives you problems then just play your regular tau. Anytime you play me in fun games I will let you use them. Besides it is a fun project and I would like to see your results. Are you planning to use guard models with tau bits or something different.
