Problems

You know what really motivates me is tournaments, which is part of the reason i push them so much. Every tournament i go to i come up with at least 1 new unit to paint and model up. Unfortunately this dosent help me get new armies built. But yea with calgary coming up, pick a list with a few new units and get those done. Ivan put together his schedule with the ground rule that he would have everything done for the red deer tournie. Its a great motivator.

Tournies are a good motivator. Just make sure things don't get left to the night before as you end up with some half ass work on the models. its happened to me.

I might do what Ivan did and make myself a schedule. Only problem with that is I'll buy something new and want to paint that right away! Hmm, maybe I should having kids and get them painting for me.. thats sounds like a good idea.

I wouldn't count on kids to much, their highlighting techniques are terrible and its almost easier just to do the dipping yourself. What might work nicely is if you tell everyone exactly how much you are going to have painted, then you either do or suffer the loss of face/pride when you have to admit defeat.
