The Regina guys are having their annual convention again at the end of April here. There is a day long 40K event on Saturday, check it out.

What impressed me most through about their site is the Prairie Gamer newsletter they've been creating. Mind you it's primarily about board games, but impressive nontheless. I'd to get involved withsomething like that.

I saw no points information for the 40K event. The link to the 40K event only said that your to bring the cheesiest list you can, but no points. They are trying to make it a fun event, not a highly competitive one, but thats about all the link had.

Wait, did the definition of 'cheesey list' change in the last couple days?
Cheesy lists + NOT competetive? Now the Jim is confused.

Yeah, its a bit odd. I guess what they're trying to do is tell everyone to bring whatever crazy ass list they can, and have fun with the craziness. If everyone is breaking out the cheese, then they should have a good time.. ?

A good concept, but bringing the cheese means brining the units that are at some level, questionable rules wise. Might be trouble I'm a thinking..

Sounds like the gladiator for Adepticon. Bring your most powerful units (for gladiator that can be titans, even in the 2250 limit!) and since everyone will be playing lash princes and multi-wound bikers, no one can complain.

I could see it being fun, from that standpoint. I bet Jody will be there with his 6 land raider list... man, that'd be a fun list to run, I love land raiders..
