TOONCON 2014

I know this is last minute but if gamers couls bring 6 markers each with the that would greatly help, they dont have to match your army, im just not sure ill have enough for the last mission. Much thanks and see you all there

It looked like only three entered and I was the only one to show up. Dan and I put up a couple Demo games of the Tau vs Space Wolves for the people who were interested there. We went 1 and 1

The timing of Toon Con this year was rather unfortunate, trying to headline against both the weekend long Khans of Tarkir prerelease and some sort of Comic Con event at the same time. Come to think of it, this is the second time that a Toon Con had landed on the same weekend as a Magic prerelease. I had poked my head in to say hi last year and ended up doing the paint scoring.

Some sort of comic con? Man, the expo was insane. Huge, so many amazing artists, some big names from the entertainment industry, some cool (and some really shitty) cosplay. It was a blast.

Tooncon just couldn't compete man.

There were a lot of personal issues as well. I know of 3 ppl including myself who would've gone, but work/family commitments precluded it .

Yeah the saskatoon expo has picked up a lot of steam since it started, don't wanna book the same time that is going on. That can be attributed to Toon-Con itself, not just the 40k bit tho. They should have considered that I agree we are in need of another tourney soon, before xmas for sure!
