Team Tourney results!
Best Painted: Rainbow Dolphin Hunters!
Best sports: The Realspace Tyrants!
Best Generals: Mount Crushmore!
2014 City Champs: Mount Crushmore!
Thanks to everyone for coming, and to Kyle and Mike S. For helping run things.
Any feedback on missions would be helpful. Overall I think they worked, but I think condensing to a d6 and making deployments std per round (like dawn of war rd 1, hammer and anvil rd 2, etc) would speed things up.

Thanks for running the event Beau. Had three awesome games against some cool people.
I agree that having the standard deployment per round evens it out a bit. I think time was a bit of an issue I know its only 1500 points per team, but all of my games ended on turn 4 due to time. Clearly Dallas has a contender for slowest player.

ell, in hindsight, deployments as noted. We also lost 30 min due to time change (I usually do 2:15 for 1500 pts). Im working on a set up where basically you roll once, then its back and forth for deployment zones, first turn, etc.

Re: Team Tourney results!
Well it is just the nature of having a teammate. Normally in game all those decisions are internalized and while you might second guess yourself you don't have to actually make a case for anything. So that just sucks up time I think.
Still, had an awesome time and thanks for running!

No worries!
Note: best showing in a tourney Evah (2-1), and every game was pretty close. Good to see some new faces!
