with vanguard veteran squad can i equip them with a storm shield @15pts and a thunder hammer @30pts with, jump packs @10 pts on each model???

You sure can. Keep in mind that you can field a TH/SS terminator for 40 points.

I was just funnin' you. Both the bolt pistol and the close combat weapon can be replaced. It makes for a very expensive model!

i gave 3 of them plasma pistols, left 2 with bolt pistols, and gave all 5 thunder hammers, they look very cool. and i was short on points trying to get them ready for my first salamander game.
