40K Tournament in Regina

I noticed Tramp's in Regina is advertising a free 40K tournament on Saturday March 28 in the new White Dwarf. Anyone interested in going?

by free do they mean no prizes i do not care just wondering. Also how many points is it

I've phoned them 2 days in a row and got the runaround. I'm trying again on Thursday.

it is from noon until 5 acording to the gw website but how many points is it? maybe try emailing them tim.

The tournament Tramps has listed for Mar 28 is cancelled. The one in April is 1700 points. They are calling it "Provincials" which kind of amuses me. The guy also said, "There's $300 dollars in prizes! Isn't that awesome!?" I asked if they were posting scenarios beforehand, and he didn't think so but said he would e-mail me back if that changed. They ususally do random scenarios. Players will be judged on painting and sportsmanship as well as game points. He wasn't sure of the exact breakdown. I also asked how many spots were available. He said as many as you want? So I am assuming they have 60 tables or therabouts...

It's about time the Provincial authority stepped in. I've been waiting for my "Provincial Champion" title for many years now.

ok i just found out it is from 12 until 6.

that takes me back. I cant belive that was 5 years ago allready. I still remember thoes two guys wrestling on the high jump pits at the back of the room haha I have never heard two grown men giggle so much

I won't be going either. I can't bring myself to support anything Tramp's is involved with. Provincials or no!
