lash strategy?
so i heard an odd strategy for beating lash but I'm not sure if it works the way they say.
they claimed that if you hide/surround the units you don't want moved with other models that your opponent cannot move the "hidden unit" through your other units because you can't move through enemy models.
does that make sense?

Hmm, Im not really sure exactly what the move is here. You take other units and surround them with the unit you dont want moved?
So, for example you have a unit of plague marines. You surround them with say.. two units of berserkers?
I can see this working if you dont leave enough space between the beserkers models that your opponent can't physically move the plague marines.. biut then youve got all your stuff bunched up enough that he probably doesnt even have to move anything.
Now, if the point is that your surrounding them with enough dense units that your blocking LOS to the unit in the middle, that makes sense.. I think your big problem would be though that most Lashes are on daemon princes that have wings.. not only is the model tall and will have LOS over most models, but could just fly onto some elevation if needed.
Despite the points above, I think the biggest point would be your using alot of resources to counter one unit being moved. I cant see this strategy working with any success, only because your tying up multiple units to protect one.
I guess I could see it working with a big Ork mob.. surrouding say a unit of Nobs in Mega armor or something. I think it owuld be really tough to pull off.
I haven't seen lash around much these days.. I think most people realize how much of a pain in the butt it is.
