BFG: armada new factions!
So looks like june 21st the space marines are being added!
You choose from 5 chapters with unique traits: DA, SW, UM, BA, IF
The marines ignore insubordination events, and their boarding actions can be pre-targetted!
Tau are the next fleet, later this year.
And all free for early adopters (anyone who gets the game before june 21st)
Hot diggity damn

Re: BFG: armada new factions!
played 10-15 games last night with my new Blood Angels Astartes fleet!
Whooo doggy. Marines are really well designed, though really suffer at low points.
Truly a sledgehammer force that needs to strike right at the centre of a fleet. All the ships are super expensive but are super tough, and their Bombardment cannons on the front do a good job of smashing shit.
Then youve got the boarding actions... well obvee they are the best at it.
You can even get seeking boarding torpedoes. I've faced some guys who just use massed boarding torpedoes, aim, fire and turn, rinse, repeat.
Sadly I mostly faced other marine players (everyone is trying out the fleet) but I did play one Imperial navy force, and damn... it was decisive.
