1000 point Serpents Brood

Their Schtick, the can consolidate or hit and run back into their transports.

The Serpent's Brood
• 4 Players: 4ื harlequin's caress; + 1 Troupe Master (Crescendo; harlequin's caress) 140
• 4 Players: 4ื fusion pistol; + 1 Troupe Master (fusion pistol; harlequin's embrace; haywire grenades) 180
• 5 Players: neuro disruptor; harlequin's embrace; 3ื harlequin's kiss; + 1 Troupe Master (harlequin's kiss; haywire grenades) 150

• 1 Voidweaver: prismatic cannon 80
• 2 Skyweavers: 2ื zephyrglaive 120

That looks a bit nastier than the double heroes path but we'll have to wait and see what it can do.

No solitaire, but a squad full of embrace's and a squad full of fusion. The trick is protecting the "squishy" transports.

In a more standard list where you can put shadowseers in the transports, rolling on telepathy for "shrouding" can give the things a 2+ cover save, which was murderous against Stelmach.

Shrouding targets the caster and his unit, does he need to be outside of the transport? Against Mike, I had a hero's path dude on foot hiding behind some LOS blocking terrain.

Only powers you can cast while in a transport are witchfires(also assumes a valid fire point). So since shrouding is a blessing you'd have to be outside of it during the psychic phase.

So you did it right from the sound of it.
