Good day, thought I would send this invite out to you guys in Saskatoon. It should be a pretty epic time. Not only that but it's for a good cause. Come on out to Calgary, roll some dice to help out a good cause. If you are planning on attending please email me jodyjerome@hotmail.com and if you have any questions fire me an email and I will try and get it answered from the guy who is putting it on.
Thanks,
Jody Jerome

Last week I was shocked to learn that my eldest son's school does not have a playground. For myself, most of my best memories from school are on the playground. Once I learned that they need to fundraise to buy a playground (not in the current budgets) I began thinking about how I can help.

I have started working with several people in the wargaming community to organize a Charity Tournament. It will be on November, 21st at the St. Rose of Lima School in Calgary. We will be hosting 3 concurrently run tournaments of Warmachine, 40K, and AoS.

It's a great opportunity for everyone to come out and roll some dice and meet some awesome wargamers, all while helping out the community.

Edit: FB didn't share the post.
So tentatively we are looking at running this event on Saturday, November, 21, 2015

We will be hosting tournaments for the following games systems:
-Warhammer Age of Sigmar with 1500 point armies using PPC Comp http://ageofwargamers.blogspot.se/p/age-of-sigmar-ppc.html?m=1

-Warhammer 40k with 1850 point armies using the ITC rules pack https://www.frontlinegaming.org/community/frontline-gamings-independent-tournament-circuit/itc-2015-season-40k-tournament-format/

-Warmachine/Hordes package similar to the Breast Cancer Brawl
http://www.leedswarmachine.co.uk/EV_BCB.html

Please share this and let your friends know so that we, as the wargaming community, can do something awesome and give kid's a place to play!

Here is an update for the charity tournament.

We finally have the pricing sorted out! We are keeping the admission costs low to make it accessible for everyone. On the day of the event there will be other ways to donate by buying rerolls and renting bonus units for games, and these donations will also be eligible for charitable donation tax receipts!

So I will unveil our extremely high priced event ticket price of..... $20!!
$20 gets you in the door, a cup of coffee after registration and several games of your favourite game system.

And if you register and pay on or before October 31st, you get the preregistration price of $15.

We will be talking to local Calgary and Edmonton gaming stores about registering there. You can also register through email and pay via PayPal. We will need to add an extra 10% to the ticket price to cover the PayPal surcharges and extra running around.

So email us at forthechildrentournament@gmail.com and let's get this awesome event going!
