HOTW Token Challenge
Hey, I am excited about the new Token Challenge. I have decided to do up some wound counters for my Nurgle Demon army. I Typically just do up some skulls from the plastic skeletons on round bases to go along side my square based fantasy guys. They're functional, but pretty lame visually. A step up from the usual floating dice used to represent wounds I usually use, but still lame. So for this contest I am also going to do up some spell tokens to represent the spell "Miasma of Pestilence". It's a spell that you cast on your own character and every enemy model in base-to-base is reduced to WS,S,T,I, of one. It's a cool spell so I want to make some counters to represent this. I think I will use 25mmx100mm Regimentas bases representing a kind fo open fisure in the ground weeping puss and such with a nurgling or two hanging around.
What's everyone else going to work on?

I think im going to work on some wound counters. For my own selfish reasons i would like to see this contest happen again. I would like to make counters for wounds as well as damage results to vehicles, and possible loot counters as well. Another good one would be for units that go to ground... a new tactic that i continually forget about.
If we were going to join these between 40k and fantasy would we have to make seperate counters for each entry? Could you put sci-fi stuff into the fantasy board and vice versa?

Well, I really love the Cities of Death book, and I think the next league after this one we might run a bunch of cities of death scenarios. To kick off that league I'd like to run a Cities of Death challenge where you have to model something to represent your two strategems. That'll be about 3 months away though.
I would also like to run a Hunters of the Warp type contest, where you actually model a Inqusitorial type agent, an actual Warp Hunter type character. Convert, model, etc. and when were done we should hopefully have some nice picture to replace our stolen Abnett painting with as well.
Just some ideas for the future, but I'm also open to all suggestions.

Re: HOTW Token Challenge
A contest to make a hunter would be a really good one. Ever think of running a straight city fight league? It would be like a normal one, but all missions would have to come from the cities of death book.
