Ben's Yu Jing painting log!
I'm putting this up to help keep me motivated and painting figs! I've made quite a bit of progress recently and figured I should share some of it, so here we go!

As always looking good Ben! Like the scheme so far. What are you going to do for basing?
Did you manage to find a local source for the bubblecaps? I was going to order up another group of them in the next week or two.

Re: Ben's Yu Jing painting log!
Thanks, for basing I'm thinking a fairly simple dark grey ballast, to look like ashfault. For the bubbles, I ordered off of Amazon:
http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00AFRWINA/ref=s9_simh_gw_p201_d16_i1?pf_rd_m=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=03H4TNDDJ21FQQXJRPVG&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1947489602&pf_rd_i=915398
However, I did make all the tokens I could need and have 73 spare bubbles that I could part with!

Oh ho? I could probably use another 20ish or so. Ian hasn't gotten any yet though so he can have first dibs.

Love the different looks of both the JSA and the Chinese troops, can't wait to see the guijia finished!

Stop painting things so nice you are making my stuff look like rubbish!
In all seriousness keeps making me want to paint my guys. Finding time is tricky though. Also painting Infinity models is tough. Such small detail.

Washes and drybrushing, dude! Seriously, that's all I mostly do Painting these guys is a different exercise from 40k figs though, I will give it that. I can't wait to play with and against a full painted army!

They still look fantastic. Any idea what you are going to do for a base?

I found I was going to need a whole bunch more so I ordered my own sheets. If Tom wants them they are all his.

OOOooooOOo.
I would most certainly take some. There are a handful of ones I forgot to make, and I want a set of 10-15 spare order ones so I would have enough for my opponent!

Are we going to see a Domaru link in the near future?

Just maybe! My goal is to have functional armies for each type of Yu Jing. A JSA army seems just so fun, if a bit weak.

I don't know, JSA seems to be the stronger of the sectorials in my experience. You should probably buy all the bikesssss.

Yeah bikes are the old/new hotness.
If you get a bunch, and I get a bunch of haqq bikers, we can re-enact the biker gang fight from Akira!!!

Re: Ben's Yu Jing painting log!
That's funny, cuz I totally didn't have any ideas in my head to paint up one of those bikes exactly like Kaneda's ride, not at all! And just to feed my ego, one like my own wheels!
Dammit Pascal, now I have to go and watch Akira again, thanks alot!
