Infinity

Hey All,

I'll be playing/teaching a game of Infinity with Ben tomorrow night at the Den so if anyone would like to come by and see what all the fuss is about feel free.

This the current edition, or 3rd ed I've been hearing about?

Current edition. I'm not sure when 3rd Ed. is coming out (maybe June?) but I am excited.

Well, now that I have your attention. Infinity anyone?

I could dust off my Yu Jing sometime. Would need a whole new teachings tho, its been a long time since I played a game

i could be persuaded as well. would be fun to break out the tag for the first time.

infinity can be cheap to get into and the rules are free online. depends if you want a horde of redshirts or some actual troops.

I don't use facebook.
I've been off of it for 2yrs now and I don't miss it one little bit.

I made a tourney legal 300pt Neoterran sectorial list that used 2 boxes. That's 65 Euros. That's just under 100 Canadian loonies. What other game can you start for that price? It's a good list too, AND you would still have 2 extra models to swap in for different games. HUZZAH!

This might require more investigation. Although I've been eyeballing different systems to supplement my 40k habit and still not sure if it is a good idea. I barely have enough time for 40k.

I can honestly say, as someone who has dabbled in a loooot of other games(helldorado, warmachine/hordes, necromunda, BFG, Mordheim, and now infinity) it is hands down the best skirmish game I have ever played.

I was flipping through their website and looking at models. While they are all gorgeous, I don't know if there is one group that I would want to own. They all look sort of the sameish (futuristic scifi/anime). With something like 40k/Fantasy/Warmahordes there is usually one that jumps out as "cooler" than the rest to me.

Yeah, they do all look very similar.
I chose Yu Jing though because of... well... NINJAS!
