This is the almost finished product of my competition entry, due to a wedding I was unable to finish in time

Looking good. I really dig the freehand symbols.

Some wash on the metallics and bit of work on the blue panels and you'll be rocking!

Thanks guys!

I do have a double wash of null oil on the metallics, it just doesn't show well with my phone camera, same as the highlights on the panels, I did a lot of edging with Genestealer Purple as well as highlighting all the rivits. Might have to take some closeups when I'm home next.

I will also be doing a very watered down black with the airbrush for "scorching" on the exhaust and gun ends.

Jeremy "builds" a Knight! Empty Glow Efects

Post  Sythenil Mon Jul 07, 2014 10:29 pm

Any plan to add glow effects to the pain end of his weapon?
Get it looking like he's prepping some juicy melta action for delivery Wink

I had thought about it, but after the pain of having the gun magnetized (Didn't read the instructions carefully enough to realise they shared a common body attached to the arm) I feel that I might wreck something trying to accomplish that effect.

This is an earlier pic of the battlecannon mounted to the gun arm.
