Finally, some Blood Angels rumors

Figured that with orks having ghaz moved to a LoW that Mephiston would get the same treatment.

cause it's annoying having to click through multiple links when on your phone....

Rules:
Mephiston: Lord of War.
Blood Angels: Gain access to the new Codex SM flyers, but not the tanks.

Minis:
New "Sanguinary" unit in Terminator armor
Clam pack plastic Sanguinary Priest
New Wheeled vehicle
"Classic Character" gets a resculpt (contrary chatter split between Mephiston/Tycho)

Rumor reliability: Medium-Low, coming from both known and unknown sources
There is still contradictory chatter on when the Blood Angels arrive with more saying they are coming this year  in-between Space Wolves and Dark Eldar

Well you could, and they are pushing harder and harder for it. But he now sits in the same slot as a Stompa, Baneblade, or Revenant Titan.

He's not a destructor though he is a strong character but not riddiculas like abbodon he is strong but you can avoid him and can be killed Titan can't be avoided they have table range

He isn't *yet*. If those rumors are even close to true, then meph will be a WHOLE lot more evil me thinks.

What was the difference between ghaz in the last to his LoW profile/stats is it really worth it?

Same stats, same cost.

space marines 7th; tiggy and calgar become LoW.  telion and chronus become mandatory purchases for ultramarines.

He's speculating. I for one, will be quite pissed if they update my 2 year old, $$60 codexes, and its all stupid little changes.

Unless its giving DA access to Grav guns, Centurions, and Storm Ravens.

That's what I get for not versing myself in the new orky rules. Didn't know he was same stats/cost.

Why would they do it then? Ghaz iirc wasn't all powerful before, why make him a LoW? I thought the LoW meant you were stronger/better/faster, like mini-primarches, or titans, knight-titans, etc, you know - the big guns.

Curious what this new vehicle BA will get will be. Hope it's like a better attack-type bike.
And Sanguinary Terminators, Yes please. if they are decent I would actually take them.

That's exactly it. I think making these chars is another gateway to big LOW. Imagine not being able to run Eldrad or Ghaz because they are just in that awkward slot. That's what's coming probably. Maybe tournaments will allow LOW with mostly generic stats like these.

On the flip side, it effectively opens up an extra HQ slot, if that's a thing you want. Being able to, say, rock two chariot lords *and* Imotekh in a single FoC would be pretty awesome. Working off the assumption that Imotekh wold become a LoW at some point.

I actually like that. Imagine 3 warbosses under ghaz or 2 farseers under eldrad.

Isnt that one of the formations? ghaz, two warbosses and some other stuff in a unit? the warbosses get +1 WS and some othe rule i'm too lazy to look up?
